Cell Project Details
In this quarter, students will be learning about cells. They will learn about the different types of cells, as well as the structure and function of the different cell types. Students will create a model of a cell (plant or animal). This may be a poster or a 3 dimensional model. The following are essential:
In this quarter, students will be learning about cells. They will learn about the different types of cells, as well as the structure and function of the different cell types. Students will create a model of a cell (plant or animal). This may be a poster or a 3 dimensional model. The following are essential:
- Model of the cell is both neat and accurate in its design (25 pts)
- Organelles should be clearly labeled with the name or with a number and a corresponding key (25 pts)
- The function of each organelle should be recorded on the model or on a separate page (20 pts)
- An analogy should be made comparing the organelle's function to that of an everyday person, place, or thing (either on the model or on a separate page) (30 pts)
Fourth Quarter
Students will work with a partner or individually to research an ecosystem. Assignment details are included in the document below. Suggested programs are linked below.
